Summit County 4-H Saddle Horse Association’s purpose is to promote and encourage development of character in youth through the promotion of the six pillars of character. To involve youth in 4-H club meetings, educational clinics, social activities and competitions. To develop youth self-esteem through accomplishments and achievements acquired by youth and horse interactions. To develop informational material deemed desirable to provide 4-H competitors and spectators a better understanding of proper sportsmanship in and outside of the show arena.
